Helen Margaret Kelso Anderson, 79, of Terre Haute, passed away Monday October 9, 2017 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Helen was born on July 31 1938 in Terre Haute to John Kelso and Lucinda Stiff Kelso. Helen was a homemaker and had worked as a CNA at the former Saint Anthony Hospital and in food service at Indiana State University. Helen was a member of North Terre Haute Christian Church and the Home Ec Club in Burnett. Helen was a graduate of Longs Beauty College and was a hairdresser for 20 years. She enjoyed sewing for her friends and family and was a member of several sewing groups throughout the years, most recently at Wabash Valley Fabrics. Helen will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, friend and a great cook. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd “Bud” Anderson who passed away August 13, 1915. She was also preceded in death by two sisters; Carolyn Staggs and Brenda Morrell. Helen is survived by two sons; Lloyd G. Anderson Jr. and his wife Dee Dee and Charles Anderson all of Terre Haute. She is survived by two daughters; Virginia Anderson Cazchur and her husband Jim of West Hampton Beach, Long Island, and Martha Anderson Poff and her husband Bill of Terre Haute. She is survived by 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be on Saturday October 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN., 47804. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pastor Rick Swan will be officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
