Donald Grassick Obituary

Donald L. Grassick Jr, 56, of Terre Haute, passed away April 9, 2024 as result of an accident in Matewan, WV. Don was born March 4, 1968 in Terre Haute, to Donald L. Grassick Sr. and Thelma Pharris Grassick. He is a graduate of the Community College of the Air Force. He was retired as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force after 29 years of service.  Serving in the Philippines, Bosnia and the United Arab Emirates to name just a few. While in the Air Force he worked in the Security Forces as a Combat Arms Instructor with the 181st Intelligence Wing. After retirement from the Air Force, he worked for the Social Security Administration. He was a longtime member of New Life Fellowship. He loved spending time with his family and playing with the grandkids. He enjoyed the outdoors; riding his four wheeler, hunting, fishing, and kayaking as well as collecting guns. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kathy Morris. He is survived by his wife, Rachele Robinson Grassick whom he married September 18, 1993. He is survived by one daughter, Kara Grassick and two sons; Daniel Grassick (Elizabeth) and Christopher Grassick. A sister survives, Darla Scales. Grandchildren; Dalton, Colton and Jackson as well as several Nieces and Nephews. Services are Monday April 15, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.  at New Life Fellowship, 7849 Wabash Ave. Terre Haute, IN 47803. Visitation will be from 11: 00 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park with Military Graveside Services provided by VFW Post 972. Pastor Jeffrey Harpole will be officiating.
