Sherri Lynn Short

Sherri Lynn Short, 63, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on January 13, 2026.  She was born on April 2, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Gary McBride and Wanda (Applebee) McBride.  Sherri worked for the State of Indiana.  Sherri loved her children, her grandchildren, and her dog.  She enjoyed taking family vacations.  Sherri didn’t know a stranger and was the sweetest lady you have her met.  She is survived by her loving children Jamie Sisk (Brian Young), Jason Sisk, Nathan Sisk (Katherine), and Aaron Sisk; grandchildren Brody Young, Brantley Young, Drake Sisk, Hunter Sisk, Zoe Sisk, Chloe Sisk, Ronan Sisk, and Thomas Sisk.  Sherri was preceded in death by her parents; her granny Helen McBride; and her late ex-husband Dean Sisk.  A celebration of life is scheduled for Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 1 P.M.
